About ClickNNY
ClickNNY is a local news and information service for Northern New York: Watertown, Fort Drum, and the towns and villages of Jefferson, Lewis and St. Lawrence counties. It brings the North Country’s news, public records, events and businesses into one place, updated through the day.
Alongside local news, ClickNNY publishes court calendars, obituaries, public notices, government meeting information, live public-safety incidents, restaurant inspections, a directory of every business in the three counties, and dirt-track racing results.
ClickNNY is published by Webit365.
Editorial standards
Every item on ClickNNY says where it came from, so a reader can always tell a ClickNNY story from someone else’s.
- ClickNNY stories are written and edited by ClickNNY.
- Community submissions come from readers. They are checked and edited by a ClickNNY editor, and the story says it began as a submission.
- Official sources (police, courts, municipalities, agencies) are summarised with credit and a link to the original.
- Other news outlets are linked, never republished. A headline from another outlet sends you to that outlet to read it.
- Images are photographs where we have them. When a story has no suitable photo we may use an illustration, which is always labelled as one and is never presented as a photograph.
ClickNNY is family-safe. Public-safety reporting is limited to what is newsworthy, and we take extra care with anything involving minors.
