Corrections policy

We want ClickNNY to be right. If something we published is wrong, tell us.

How to request a correction

Email opsdesk@clicknny.com with:

• a link to the story,
• what is wrong, and
• how you know (a record, a document or first-hand knowledge helps us move faster).

You can also use the tip form. You do not have to be named in the story to ask.

What we do

We check every request. When a fact is wrong, we fix it in the story promptly, and the story shows the time it was last updated.

If we cannot confirm a requested change, we will tell you why. Requests to remove accurate reporting of public records, such as arrests and court cases, are not corrections; email us and we will look at each one individually.
