The Potsdam IGA is reportedly scheduled to close in two weeks. Employees were notified Tuesday, Aug. 18, about the planned closure.

The store is located at 27 Elm St. and is owned by brothers Kirk and Todd LaVigne, who also own IGA stores in Brasher Falls and Chateaugay. The LaVignes bought the Potsdam store in 2017. The store had previously been owned by Chip and LuAnn Cross since 2006.
